Steward's Event set for November 8

An evening with the Stewards Society will take place on November 8 at the new St. John's Episcopal Church Rectory @ 180 Battery Park Drive in Black Rock.

The Steward's Society is comprised of donors who contribute $1,500 or more during a fiscal year. Your gift can be designated to a particular program, or continute to the overall mission of The Council. As a Steward, you can fulfill your philantrophic goals while helping those most in need.

At this year's Stewards & Friends Cocktail Party, we will be showcasing the Janus Center for Youth in Crisis.

Rev. Geoffrey Hahneman, pastor of St. John's Episcopal Church, and a member of the CCGB Board of Directors, has opened up the beautiful new church rectory for this year's event.

"We are deeply grateful to all of our stewards for their on-going support, and to Rev. Hahneman for offering the rectory for this event. It's a chance to thank the members of the Steward's Society, update them on all we are doing for youth in the Greater Bridgeport area, and encourage other significant donors to join the Stewards Society," said Cass Shaw, the President & CEO of the Council.

Last year's event, "Looking Back with Thanks, Looking ahead with Hope," took place at the home of Mary-Jane Foster and Jack McGregor.
